The Electric cooker inspection 

 

Involved in this inspection is firstly a visual check of the appliance and correct connection to the electrical supply using the correct cable size. once this has been completed we carry out an electrical safety test covering Earth continuity, Earth loop, correct polarity, and Insulation tests.

After completion of these checks we carry out a component check to make sure such things as door handles, seals and hinges are in good condition.

 

The Test

 

After we have completed the electrical tests and verification of the components we will then carry out a comprehensive  workingl test this includes a full operational test and temperature test of the appliance.

After the oven has been tested for temperature and the elements have been placed under full electrical stress we will then carry out another insulation test on the appliance.

 

All the results will be documented and the recorded on the safety inspection sheet and issued to the school on completion.
