As part of our service for schools as well as repairs, installations, cooker cleaning and  maintenance contracts we can offer annual safety inspections for your school cookers. our safety inspections give your school the regulatory complience certification required by law for the safety of cookers in schools.

Our service engineer who attends your school will be fully qualified in the aspects of work he has be requested to attend and as well as being DBS checked he will carry risk assessments out prior to commencement of any work. 

 

The inspection carried out will include a full opperational test of the cooker as well as checking the installation. our inspection is extremely comprehensive with a full check list of components tested. The inspection covers the electrical safety of the appliance , its gas soundness and the installation to verify its compliance for use.

 

All appliances tested will be issued with a certificate of safety unless they fail in which case you will be advised of the work required to rectify any faults located, in all cases no appliance will be left connected to the supply if they are found to be un safe to use in which case we will de commision that particular appliance for your added safety.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

We can carry out these tests within your school at a time convenient to your curriculum, this includes calling after school hours, half term etc.
